Description
The Milking Parlour is a brick built barn in a quiet, rural location. The city of Lincoln is a 20 minute drive away. This barn used to be part of a milking shed. It has a vaulted roof and there are two areas: a bedroom-studio and a shower-wet room. The kitchen has a small fridge-freezer, a small induction hob and a combination microwave-grill. The wet room has a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and mirror with light, de-mister and shave socket. Outside there is a patio area with table and chairs. The space There is off-road PARKING for up to two cars. The parking area is ample for white vans. The BED is Kingsize. The maximum booking capacity is for 2 people although there is space for a travel cot for a baby or toddler. We cannot provide a travel cot. The KITCHEN is equipped with a few essential utensils including the plates, glasses, pots , cutlery etc necessary for basic catering, e.g. reheating takeaways etc. HEATING is via wall-mounted panel heaters for the main room and towel radiators for the bathroom. Please feel free to select a temperature setting on the panel heaters that suits you. Bathroom setting is simply an off/on selection. The heated mirror in the bathroom turns on with the lights. The whole unit has fresh air pumped in and bathroom extraction permanently on. In addition you can boost the bathroom extraction via a fan switch (located close to the bathroom light switch). We do not allow pets in the Milking Parlour. If you are disabled please note that the drive is loose gravel and there are a couple of steps to access the barn. An anti-slip mat is provided for use in the shower. Please scroll down to see the full list of amenities we provide. A hair dryer and an iron are available on request. Guest access PARKING Guest parking is about 20m from the door of the Milking Parlour. FARM Currently we are not permitting exploration of the farm and wildlife areas. LOCAL AREA Our neighbouring villages are approximately a 5 minute drive away; there you can buy provisions at the local Spar/Coop or visit a pub or collect takeaways. Other things to note Check in is from 3pm and check out is before 10am We respectfully remind you that smoking is prohibited inside our accommodation. If you wish to smoke please do so outside the barn and keep the door and window closed so that the smoke does not filter in. A charge of £250 will be applied to your booking if a guest is found to have smoked inside the barn.
