Park and follow the marked pathway through the forest which has a sea view along most of its length. The path is linear and will take you about 3 hours to complete and finishes at Nea Dimata so better time yourself to return to your car before it gets dark or have somebody to collect you at the other end. -Pomos Natural History Museum. In the village centre near the sea and river bed. Opening hours 07.30-14.30 (Monday to Friday) 07.30-16.00 Wednesday, 08.00-13.00 Saturday -Boat ride to Akamas beautiful beaches from Latsi. You can rent a boat from Latsi harbour. Perhaps take “Koulla” boat and advise us on the quality of the charcoal meat we have been smelling for years when riding downwind. -Visit the park with local plants and the adjacent Aphrodite’s baths on the Akamas peninsula (after Latsi). -Drive to Kykkos monastery on Troodos mountain and visit mountain villages (Panayia, Platres, Kakopetria, Foini etc) and walk along the numerous Troodos nature trails. Troodos mountain is the heart of Cyprus but an early start is needed. -Adonis waterfalls near Pafos. Interesting for children/teenagers and good pre-training area for aspiring Acapulco visitors. Swim away from the diving spot quickly before the next one jumps in.
