The space Many years ago, this unique building was one of the first luxury hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor frequently stayed here when it was a hotel. 3rd Floor, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, modern laundry room, large oceanfront wrap-around terrace with panoramic bay views, mountains, city lights, and the Malecon. You will also enjoy the rooftop with sun chairs, umbrellas, dining tables, and chairs This home is beautifully appointed and has everything you need, including wireless internet access, cable TV, Amazon Prime and stunning views of the bay, the Malecon, and the city. Spot whales beyond the palms and crashing surf as sounds waft from a buzzing street. The living space flows out via sliding glass doors to a wraparound deck with sublime views. Pops of fresh color and quaint artifacts pepper the traditional styling. Fishing and diving charters are just up the street. Old town, the mercado, the beach; art galleries, the cathedral; many of the best restaurants in town; are all right outside your door. If you do want to venture out a little further, you'll never wait more than two minutes for a cab or an Uber ride here. Feeling adventurous? Your vacation experience combines Mexican music, crashing waves, and general nightlife activity. If you are a light sleeper, use our Alexa Echo in both bedrooms for soothing white noise. Instructions are attached to the furniture in each bedroom. The blanket of white noise comes in handy, especially on weekends when there is a live sales band from 10 PM to 1 AM in the restaurant two stories down. Don't miss the sounds and great smells from the nearby fabulous restaurants.....you'll want to be out amongst them. We have significantly renovated the Condo. Please note a few important rules: 1) Due to liability reasons, our guests cannot use the BBQ grill. 2) We have installed a Water Dispenser and offer the first 5-gallon tank free of charge. Additional tanks can be obtained from our local host, Angel for 100 Pesos 3) In line with Airbnb rules, we can NOT accept third-party bookings, and only those registered and listed as guests are allowed to stay at Casa Luz 4) Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a penalty of $50 per person per night. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without a refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy (4 guests). A Ring Doorbell Cam is facing the exterior. Guest access The entire apartment, including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer. The building features an incredible rooftop terrace with 360-degree views of the whole city. Other things to note Angel (Pronounced "Anchel"), our friendly host in Puerto Vallarta will be welcoming you with your keys and he will answer any questions you might have. Arrival Instructions: After passing immigration and customs, head outside the terminal and don't get lured into a conversation with the many salespeople before the exit. One of the Taxi advisors will get you a Taxi, tell them you need to go to Puerto Vallarta Centro, Bar Oceano (Most everybody knows this famous restaurant in our building). The detailed Address is Corona 130, Puerto Vallarta. Most likely the cab driver will drop you off on the main street, right next to the pharmacy.
