Relax and welcome to "Forest View Cottage", a peaceful mountain escape nestled in beautiful Mt Tamborine. We’re Kev and Lyn, and we’re excited to share our recently renovated four-bedroom Queenslander home with you. Backing directly onto tranquil forest, our cottage offers privacy, fresh mountain air, and relaxing treetop views—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The space Forest View Cottage comfortably accommodates families, couples, or small groups, with three queen beds and one king single, along with two modern bathrooms for convenience and comfort. The home blends classic Queenslander character with updated interiors, creating a warm and inviting space to relax after a day of exploring. Enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks while listening to birdsong, or take advantage of the cottage’s close proximity to Mt Tamborine’s rainforests, walking tracks, wineries, cafes, and local attractions. Whether you’re planning a quiet retreat, a weekend getaway with friends, or a family holiday, our home provides a calm and comfortable base. We take pride in offering a clean, welcoming, and well-equipped stay, with thoughtful touches to help you feel right at home. We look forward to hosting you at Forest View Cottage. Other Considerations: Septic System: We ask that guests be mindful of what they flush due to the septic system in place; bins are provided for feminine hygiene items. Tank Water: Our water supply is rain-fed, so we can be eco-friendly, adding to our sustainability. Please be mindful of the length of your showers; every drop counts. NOISE: Please be aware that the property is "NOT" a party house and will be strictly adhered to. Please be considerate of neighbours and restrict noise after 10 pm. If excessive noise does occur, we will be notified and take action accordingly. I say again, it's NOT a party house. External cameras: The home has external cameras at the front for guest safety, please don't interfere with them. Guest access @ Forest View Cottage, you get full access to the home, front and back gardens, but please be aware that the lower area under the house and the Eastern back side are for storage and not suitable for guests. Please stay away from these areas.
