Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, outdoor seating, fire pit, and surrounding natural areas. The property is surrounded by greenery and open countryside, with beautiful views of the rice fields and Mount Rinjani. Guest access Guests have access to the areas and amenities provided for their stay, including the swimming pool, yoga platform, outdoor seating, fire pit, and surrounding garden areas. Guests are welcome to enjoy the natural surroundings and take time to relax, unwind, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside. Some areas of the property may be shared with other guests or our local community. Other things to note ELYSIUM is located in a predominantly Muslim village in rural East Lombok. Lombok is often known as the “Island of a Thousand Mosques”, and the adhan (Islamic call to prayer) can be heard from nearby mosques throughout the day and evening, including the early morning call to prayer for Fajr. You may also occasionally hear announcements from the local mosque. As we are surrounded by rice fields and a local village, you may also hear the natural sounds of rural life, including tractors passing by, farmers working nearby, birds, roosters, and other activity from the surrounding community. These sounds are part of everyday village life and the authentic experience of staying in rural Lombok. We warmly welcome guests from all backgrounds and kindly ask everyone to respect the local community, culture, traditions, and prayer times. House guidelines: • Please dress respectfully and modestly in shared and outdoor areas. Swimwear is welcome around the swimming pool. • No alcohol is allowed anywhere on the property. • Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Because ELYSIUM is surrounded by nature and rice fields, guests may occasionally encounter small creatures such as geckos, lizards, spiders, insects, and other wildlife around the property. These small animals are generally harmless and do not normally approach or attack people. They are simply part of the natural environment around ELYSIUM. This is a natural part of staying in a tropical countryside environment. We do our best to keep the property clean and comfortable while respecting the natural surroundings. At ELYSIUM, we believe that hospitality should also give something back to the community that surrounds us. By staying with us, you are not only experiencing the beauty of rural Lombok, but also helping us contribute to the people and community around ELYSIUM.
