❤️Waterslacks Barn in the Peak District

Description

Please note when booking with Airbnb you get charged an additional % fee of our actual cost. 🌳It is a great experience for those who enjoy getting back to nature, or don't mind roughing it. 🛏The main area inside the barn has wooden sleeping platforms and a bench/table (guests must bring own camping mats and sleeping bags etc). The kitchen/dining area has picnic benches a sink, fridge and slabs for cooking (guests bring own camp stove and cooking equipment etc). £1 coins for meter. The space 🏕The barn is classed as a camping barn. This means that guests bring their own sleeping bags, mattresses, camp stove, cooking utensils and crockery. Everything you would need if you were camping in a tent, but not the tent. 🛏Guests sleep on three large wooden platforms, so an air bed would be best for comfort, (guests must bring all their own bedding, mattress, pillow, duvet and covers). Bring your sleeping bag and pillow and in colder weather, remember to bring additional warm clothing, as the heating inside the barn is adequate to be able to take the chill away, but you will need the extra warmth of warm clothing. ⭐️There is electric in the barn and this runs off £1 coins. There is a shower cubicle and a WC, (two toilet rolls and hand soap supplied) this is situated just off the kitchen area. The kitchen has a washing up sink, with electric heated hot water. Washing up liquid is supplied with dish cloths also. Two benches for dining. There is a small toaster, kettle and fridge. Guests need to bring their own camp stove to cook their food on. Guests bring their own plates, mugs, pans and utensils to use while staying at the barn. We do supply a couple of toilet rolls and bin bags, but you would be best to bring additional for your stay. 🔥Outside space is at the front of the property only, where there are two picnic benches and an area for a campfire. If you wish to have a fire, please remember to bring your own wood, sticks and fire lighters. 🌳The fields surrounding the barn belong to another farmer and these are not to be entered by guests, the parking area, track to barn and the area at the front of the barn is for the guests to use only. We ask that guests are mindful of noise, as in the countryside noise travels far in the still air, this is to be respectful of neighbours close to the barn also. ⭐️So please keep noise levels down after 10pm, no music to be played outside after this time. On departure from the barn, we ask guests to leave the barn in a tidy and clean state. All rubbish should be separated into recycling and general waste. All rubbish should be removed from the barn and bags should be placed in the container in the parking area. All rubbish in the container needs to be bagged, no loose rubbish. We do not accept rubbish that would need to be taken to the local tip, this is bulky rubbish of mattresses, camp chairs and other large items. If this is left for us to remove then there will be an additional fee charged at per item and our time to dispose of it. If tents are to be pitched in the area at the front of the barn, guests will need to inform us so we can advise on this. Guest access 🌳The fields around the barn are rented to a local farmer, so no access to these. Other things to note 📱Please be aware that the barn is situated in the countryside and on the edge of a valley, so some phone signals are limited and poor reception. 🔥In colder weather please come prepared with warm clothing and suitable bedding. Heating in the barn is by wall mounted quartz glow heaters and blow heaters. Please bring £1 coins for the meter to run all electric, so you would need between a couple of pounds to £25 for a two night stay depending if you are using showers, heaters and lighting. The barn is a short walk from the parking area. You are unable to have food delivery to this property as it has no postal address.
