Donington Park EMA | One bed converted barn Wilson

A 10 minute walk from Donington Park's main entrance, The Barn is the perfect base for two people (+ your pet, subject to a fee) to stay comfortably. This one-bedroom, well-equipped self-contained barn conversion has kitchen, dining area, en-suite shower, TV/DVD, Wifi, wood burner and lovely garden views. Parking for up to 2 cars / motorbikes available. Please note we are close to East Midlands Airport and Donington Park so noise can be heard from these sites from time to time. The space The Barn is brilliantly located for events at Donington Park and it is just a 10 minute walk to the main entrance. The space is divided into a separate bedroom, with en-suite shower room (with electric shower and heated towel rail) as well as a wardrobe / storage cupboard. There is plenty of clothes storage and hanging space to make yourself at home and a comfy king-size bed with an electric blanket. The curtains are also blackout lined to help you get a good night's sleep. The living space is 'open plan', with a full kitchen in one corner. Facilities in the kitchen include kettle, toaster, four-ring ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge (with freezer compartment) and there are plenty of glasses, plates etc. There is no washing machine in The Barn, but we are happy to offer access to this in the main house for a small fee, should you urgently need it. There is seating for up to people at the dining table alongside the kitchen. In the living area, there are two large sofas, perfect to stretch out and relax on. There is a TV/DVD and Wifi, as well as a wood burning stove with enough logs supplied to keep you going for a night or two. Any additional logs that you require may be subject to a small charge. For younger guests, we have some toys and books to keep them entertained. There is a high chair and fire guard available on request but please note that we do not supply a travel cot. We do accept pets during your stay. Please note there is an additional charge of £25 per pet per stay. If you are bringing a pet (or more than one pet) but don’t add them to your booking, this charge will be raised by the Airbnb platform at check in. Pets are not permitted on furniture, including the sofas and the bed and you should note that the garden is not secure and leads onto open fields. Guests who bring dogs must supervise their dogs at all times on the property and pick up any dog mess, disposing of it appropriately. You should also note that we have chickens on the pond's island so any pets should be under control and not want to chase our feathered friends! From both rooms in The Barn you'll get fantastic views of the garden where you should be able to spot lots of birds, ducks, moorhens and maybe even the Kingfisher and Heron who love the pond. Whilst the pond is in the garden of the main house, please be aware of it if you're booking or staying with young children. There is no lifeguard on duty! There is outside seating for guests on the patio area or on the grass adjacent to the barn. Just ask if you need additional outside seating and we'll do our best to help! Please also note that additional guests who were not part of your initial booking will be charged at £30 per person per night via Airbnb. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore our garden but please be mindful of the deep pond and that our dogs, if they are outside, will likely want to investigate with you. We’re always happy to recommend local walks, especially ones that visit local pubs, and there are plenty of local guides and information in The Barn. Other things to note Please note we are close to East Midlands Airport and Donington Park so you should expect some noise from these sites. Guests are not permitted to charge electric cars at The Barn. Electric car charge points are available locally.
