This stunning, renovated Victorian Farm, red brick barn is nestled on the idyllic Romney Marsh Ridge. The Cowshed Port Lympne benefits from a spacious garden to the rear and amazing views across the fields towards the North Downs area of outstanding natural beauty to the front. A short drive to many beaches, the coastal towns of Hythe and Folkestone (with its Harbour and Pier) and under a mile from Port Lympne Animal Reserve. It is also near many vineyards incl Gusborne and Chapel Down. The space The Cowshed sleeps up to 8 people with all rooms except one on ground level. Small step to entrance from parking area. Ground Floor. Open plan living space with vaulted ceiling, wood burner, smart TV and large corner sofa. Wi-fi. Kitchen / Dining area: Well equipped, incl electric oven & hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Step to... Bedroom 1: Zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet. Bedroom 2: Zip and link kingsize bed (can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request). Separate Shower room: Shower cubicle and toilet. Bedroom 3: Kingsize bed and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail. First Floor. Bedroom 4: Zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and Smart TV with DVD player. Underfloor central heating throughout with individual room control thermostats, bed linen, towels and Romney Marsh toiletries included. Large enclosed lawned garden with terrace to the rear, with BBQ and seating area overlooking stunning countryside views to the front. Seasonally available outdoor Swimming pool (next to the owner's farmhouse and at hourly extra charge) and free of charge Tennis court (both by prior arrangement each day with the owner when available). Seasoned logs and fire starting pack for the indoor Fireplace and outdoor firepit are not provided, but can be made available for your arrival upon request for a small additional charge of £25. The outdoor pool can be made available seasonally (May - Sept) by prior arrangement each day with the owner, typically between the hours of 12-4.00pm. The pool is unsupervised, so an adult must be with any children at all times. An additional charge of £40 per hour is payable for the use of this facility and is only made available to guests staying at the Cowshed. The 22Kwh EV charger is untethered and accepts most cards and Google / Apple Pay. Contactless payment, no app is required to use.
