Le Saint Chalet – Le Bleymard – Mont Lozère

At an altitude of 1,100 m (3,609 ft), this architect-designed house overlooks the mountains and forests of Mont Lozère. Inside, the living room’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer an exceptional panoramic view. You can settle in there, warmed by the cozy stove, or relax on the hammock overlooking the space. After a walk in the surrounding nature, the sauna invites you to extend this moment of relaxation. The space The cottage is high up, quiet, in the heart of an extensive natural space. The light circulates throughout the day thanks to the openings to the east, south and west, offering a soft and warm atmosphere. From the living room, the gaze rests freely on the mountain, the forest and the fields as far as the eye can see, creating a feeling of space and tranquility. 🏡 Living Area The main room brings together a bright living room, a friendly dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a central island ideal for cooking. The large windows open to two terraces: – to the south, bathed in sunshine, – to the west, facing the sunsets and the open view of the fields. The view changes over the hours: Mont Lozère forest opposite, protective tree lines on the left, open fields on the right. A soothing, lively, and fully refreshing atmosphere. 🛏️ Bedrooms and layout The cottage offers three sleeping areas, each designed for comfort and privacy: – a bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite bathrooms and toilets, – a second bedroom on the ground floor, bright and quiet, – an attic bedroom upstairs, under the beams, with a velux and private bathroom. The mezzanine accommodates a large TV area with convertible sofa, creating two additional comfortable beds. It has access to a west-facing outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying the evening light. A hanging net completes this floor: a place for reading, play, rest, or contemplation. 🚿 Bathrooms The cottage has three bathrooms: – A bathroom at the entrance, with shower and sauna, – a bathroom attached to the ground floor bedroom, – a bathroom attached to the attic bedroom. Separate toilets are also available at the entrance and upstairs. 🔥 Heating & Comfort The underfloor heating is set to 18° before your arrival, in order to offer a pleasant atmosphere. You can adjust it to 20° when you arrive, then reset to 18° when you leave the chalet. The pellet stove brings soft warmth in addition to the underfloor heating. When it heats up, the floor heating naturally stops, then resumes according to the temperature of the room. Pellet bags are provided for the duration of the stay. Upstairs, the mezzanine and rooftop bedroom are heated by modern convector heaters. 🌐 Connection & Media The chalet has a fiber optic connection. Smart TV works with connection sharing as needed. 🚗 Outdoor and access The chalet has a private parking located at the entrance, facilitating the installation. The grounds stretch around the cottage, offering space, light, and nature as far as the eye can see. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage: the three bedrooms, the three bathrooms, the large living room, the kitchen, the two terraces, the mezzanine, the TV area as well as the hanging net. Private parking located at the entrance is also reserved for them. The sauna is located in the entrance bathroom. Other things to note The cottage has underfloor heating set to 18° before your arrival, so that the space is comfortable as soon as you install. You can set it to 20° when you arrive, then set it to 18° when you leave the chalet. A wood-burning stove is also available in the living room. How it works is simple: – when it heats the room, the floor heating automatically stops, – when it turns off or the temperature drops, the heating resumes on its own. So you can use the stove with peace of mind, without any special setting. Upstairs, the mezzanine and rooftop bedroom are heated by modern convector heaters, designed to provide soft and efficient comfort. To avoid the risk of frost, the refrigerator and hot water tank remain on at all times. The accommodation is equipped with fiber optics.
