My place is close to Sam Levy village, Borrowdale approx 5km This listing is for the 4 bed with a max capacity of 8 guests (no events) Set on the top of a hill, is a choice of three thatched properties and two cottages with great views of Harare at night and amazing sunrise and sunset views. They're very spacious both indoors and outdoors and give you a lot of room to be creative about your stay. You can book all houses like for business travellers, families, and big groups for up to 22 ppl The space What we offer Secure, peaceful stay in a quiet neighbourhood, which is versatile to your specific needs. There is DSTV and Wi-fi for entertainment and work, and also a lot of outside space and balconies for sunset viewing or just taking a well deserved rest. Water and Power Supply The property is powered by electricity, back-up solar power. Water is supplied to all properties from three water tanks with a combined capacity of 15,000 litres of borehole water. The water levels are monitored by the housekeeper and caretaker and we have a contract with a water company that tops these tanks up when required. We only ask our guests to be conscious of the water situation and try as much as possible to conserve water; ensuring taps are always closed after use. The housekeeper will also keep an eye on the electricity levels and tops these up when required. Main Features of the holiday houses They have a unique architecture which combines modern day living and country-style living with that thatch finish. 4-Bed Thatched Double Storey Main House The larger guest house has a unique and spacious open plan social area with a night and sunset view spot, bar, lounge and modern kitchen. There are two large balconies leading from the lounge. There is ample storage space and walk-in dressing rooms to two of the four bedrooms, all of which are downstairs. The first two bedrooms also have very spacious en-suite bathrooms. The other two smaller double bedrooms benefit from a spacious family bathroom with shower facilities which also has a lot of storage space. Downstairs you will also find a laundry room and linen cupboard. (restricted to staff) Car parking space is for three cars in the car port and ample space around for a few more cars Your Immediate Surroundings Previous guests have described the property as tranquil. It is a very peaceful environment with a lot of indigenous woodland including mazhanje trees and there is therefore also a lot of bird-life around. There is a secure outdoor swimming pool for your use during those sunny days, as well as barbeque stands and many spots for outside socialising. We have two big outdoor lights. House-Keeping and Caretaker staff are on site but maintaining your privacy. For this reason they will do cleaning before you checkin and at checkout. For long stay guests inclusive cleaning is done weekly including laundry. Should you require more frequent cleaning please request directly from the staff and you can pay them also directly $10 per cleaning or additional laundry. Airport Shuttle Service- Arrivals and Departure and Car Hire If you opt for this service, our shuttle service providers and partners will greet you on arrival if your port of arrival is the Harare International Airport. Please let us know in advance your flight number and arrival date and time. Our staff will drive you to your holiday home. Also let us know in advance if you would like the shuttle service to take you back to the airport at the end of your stay, and likewise advise the time you would like to be collected from Kambanji, and your departure flight details. We have three vehicles available for car rental please let us know if you require use of a vehicle for part or all of your stay. This is at a separate additional cost. Guest access You have full access to the property and surroundings and also have on-hand a groundsperson and house-keeper for your support. Other things to note For your privacy housekeeping is done at the end of your stay but for stays longer than a week linen change and laundry are done weekly. You can opt for more frequent cleaning by paying the housekeeper directly approx $10 for house clean or additional laundry.
