Light, airy, spacious cabana, 2 bedrooms plus upper loft with A/C in bedrooms, decorated with local artists fun colorful art, located near the pool, just steps from the beach, up in the trees overlooking the lush tropical grounds with peek-a-boo views of the Caribbean. Six maximum guests. Our Townhouse/home is located in tropical lush jungle like grounds in Sandy Bay on Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. The space Our Treehouse has 2 bedrooms: one with a queen bed & one with a double bed and A/C in the bedrooms, also a double bed in the sleeping loft (not an official bedroom, it overlooks the living area), & a double futon in the living room. There are high vaulted ceilings over the dining, kitchen & living area with wifi, cable and TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and two french doors leading out to the screened-in porch with two hammocks. Location is in Sandy Bay which is a nice quiet & laid back beach but close to everything. Drive or take a taxi or bus for convenient access to West Bay and West End for more beaches, shopping and restaurants and you are just 10 minutes from the airport in Coxen Hole- taxi is $5/person from airport (agree on price before getting in taxi). Having a car is very useful if you want to venture out more often. Or just stay here and swim with reef fish, rays and turtles! In our jungle you can see bats, dragon flies, geckos, lizards, land crabs, iguanas, and tons of chirping birds. Sandy Bay is a protected marine area with a long white sandy beach to walk on. Incredible snorkeling and scuba diving just a short swim from our dock. Scuba dive w/Octopus Dive or Blue Island Dive both a short walk down the beach to the right. Hail a taxi at the road for $2/person taxi ride to the West End and West Bay where there are more restaurants, dive shops & bars or take the bus (it’s actually a van for 20 lempira which is less than a dollar). Eldons grocery store is in Coxen Hole also a short drive or taxi ride for $2/person. Guest access Entire cabana except one locked closet in bedroom with owners property. Other things to note We can make arrangements for a driver to pick you up from the airport ($25) and even stop at the grocery store, Eldons, on the way to your Treehouse, for an additional fee ($10). Just let us know. Or take the Taxi to Sundancer next to the Blue Parrot for approximately $10/person (confirm price/person before getting in taxi). By booking the Treehouse you agree to assume all liabilities. The owners are not responsible for injuries or damages due to negligence or inappropriate conduct.
