Cottage in Crich

Cosy 2 Bedroom cottage in the picturesque village of Crich close to Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard including cosy lounge with log burner, modern well equipped kitchen diner. Two bedrooms, one king with countryside views, one twin, and bathroom to the first floor with sunken bath and rainfall shower. Small enclosed south facing garden. Crich is a perfect base to explore the Peak District and local attractions. The space Guests have sole access to the cottage and garden. Sleeps up to 4 people. The cottage: Lounge with solid oak flooring and cosy wood burner, one basket of logs provided. Pretty views across to the village church. Smart TV, and DVD player with a selection of DVDs and free WiFi. Bluetooth speaker and DAB radio. Local OS Maps and walking books are also provided. Fully fitted dining kitchen which is well equipped with all cooking equipment. Fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Welcome tray with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. We also provide all cleaning products and dishwasher tablets. Family bathroom with unique sunken bath, overhead rainfall shower, and handheld shower attachment, and heated towel rail. Main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with stunning countryside views and wall mounted TV. Hairdryer provided. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. This room looks out on to the church, please be aware that the church bells chime on the hour through the night. Outside to the rear of the cottage is a private enclosed gravelled garden. There is seating for 4 people with comfortable table and chairs take advantage of the south west facing aspect. Parking - on road parking is available opposite the property. There is never any trouble finding a space. Dogs are very welcome but are strictly not allowed on furniture or upstairs. £20 fee per stay. We can provide a high chair and travel cot on request. We have a range of children’s plastic bowls and cups in the kitchen. If younger children are staying we have a basket with a few small toys and books. Guest access Guests have full access to the property. Other things to note We want to reassure guests that we will be following strict government guidelines on cleanliness to the highest level. This includes ensuring high touch areas e.g light switches and remote controls etc are all disinfected between stays. We do welcome dogs, but we politely ask that they are now allowed on the furniture or upstairs. If your dog isn’t used to this rule then sadly this cottage isn’t suitable for you. The stairs to the first floor are quite steep so guests with very young children or less able bodied may have to be extra cautious. There is a hand rail and a door from the kitchen to the stairs.
