Ashdown Cottage, two bedroom cottage

The accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen-diner, cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Close by is a quiet sitting area with a lock up shed for bikes etc. The large bedroom is spacious with a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured as a single or twin. A cot can be provided on request. bed linen and towels are provided and heating and electric costs are included in the rental charge. Sorry no pets. No candles or tea lights thank you.photos on air bnb are recent The space Ashdown provides no smoking pet free accommodation in the centre of the Peak District village of Tideswell. It is within few minutes level walking to a bakers butchers green grocer coop chemist and several pubs. There are many wonderful walks from the village and you can leave your car and use buses to Sheffield Bakewell Buxton and Castleton. These can also drop you off at several villages and walk back , The sitting room has a sofa and chair ,side tables,a cast iron electric stove and a bookcase. There is a large smart tv but no dvd player. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven with induction hob fridge with freezer box, washing machine,toaster and a full set of cooking dining equipment. We provide tea coffee sugar milk wash up liquid soap powder etc etc. The dining area has an oak table and 4 chairs a butchers block with shelves.Inside the storage cupboard you will find ample coat hooks shoe racks as well as iron and ironing board. The main bedroom has a double bed , bedside cabinets with touch lamps,a wardrobe a chest of drawers a long mirror and a wicker chair.Above the drawers is a shaving socket and a socket for hair drying. There is ample space for the travel cot if needed. The second bedroom has a single bed with another underneath that can be converted to a twin room . There is hanging space ,chest of drawers and a bedside table with touch lamp . The bathroom has a bath with shower above folding screen close coupled toilet and basin . The outside sitting area is accessed through the gate opposite the back door and contains a summer house/ bike storage with rack and chains. There is a table four chairs a bench and a drying area.. We are Mel and Ray and have lived in Tideswell for 38 years. We take great pride in personally ensuring Ashdown Cottage lives up to your requirements .
