Cottage 5 at Paradise Pines Resort in Elk Rapids

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape just steps from Grand Traverse Bay. Paradise Pines Resort is a group of vintage rental cottages built in 1938 and recently restored using creative reuse practices. We have 10 cottages of different sizes. Some have full amenities, and some require you to bring your own supplies. Walk or bike ride into the charming waterfront village of Elk Rapids or cross the street to enjoy a swim at our extensive county park with beach and art trails. The space Cottage 5 is a 420 sqft efficiency cottage with an open floorplan combining the sleeping and living area. The white walls and dark wood accents are clean and modern. There is a wheelchair ramp for easy access into the step-free entry. The queen bed has access on both sides and a spacious closet. The living area also includes a comfy couch that can be pulled out for additional sleeping space for two. The sleeping/living area has a curtained divider for privacy giving this cottage sleeping for four, but may seem crowded with four adults. The kitchenette is small but very functional with dining table, small sink, full-sized refrigerator, microwave (no stove), toaster and drip coffeemaker. The kitchenette is stocked with basic items for preparing and enjoying simple meals. The bathroom features a lovely curbless, travertine tile shower and adjustable shower head. A sink with a spacious, custom wood countertop completes this beautiful as well as accessible bathroom. Cottage 5 has a super quiet mini split for heat/AC and a ceiling fan over the bed. Guest access You will have designated parking for one vehicle and access to your cottage via keyless entry code. All cottages are near each other with privacy fences and separate outside sitting areas for each cottage. You will have shared access to our Club House Area with a vintage day-use cottage, shady deck, BBQ grills, additional seating, fire pit, shuffle board courts, and open areas for games.
