100 year old highland chalet - Caputówka

Capuchin is a 100-year-old highlander's cottage, built of optical balls and mass, spruce and larch wood. Located at an altitude of 700m on the southern, sunny slopes of Sucha Góra, over 250 m above the bottom of the valley, which gives views, space and fresh air free of smog and exhaust gases. Cottage Caputówka is climatic, simple and dignified. Decorated with taste and attention to highlander elements. The space Cottage Caputówka was built in Beskid halls, where the courageous Wallachian settlement occupied high, convenient places to live and graze sheep. Initially, shelters, sheds and later houses were built. The inaccessible places favored the highlanders - shepherds who valued freedom and independence. Hale, cerle, walkers and clusters allowed isolation and gave asylum to highlanders often living outside the law... To this day we can hear about Beskid Janosiki, such as Klimczok, Proćpok or Klisie's robbers... Chata Caputówka bears traces of that time and could tell many stories... Today you can meet juhasa with sheep, lumberjacks with horses pulling a tree out of the forest or players resting at Saturday... Location by the hiking trail to Hale Boracz - a great starting point. 700m above sea level, a sunny exposition overlooking the Sola Valley, space and peace! After renovation, the Caputówka cottage retained its character: a long cottage with a layout of rooms in the amphitheater, kitchen with tiled stove, chambers, halls with shepherd's tools, etc. It is furnished in a simple and dignified way with a modern bathroom and 3 bedrooms (3 double beds), including one large one for several people or children. Mountain hamlets in Żywiec Landscape Park may be the last places of lively culture of highlanders and shepherds in this region!
