The house and its old outbuildings, including a workshop that serves as a summer dining room, protect a charming paved courtyard. Beams and stones, some from the 18th century, are a treat for enthusiasts. Through an escape at the back of the courtyard, an unexpected garden, a true natural oasis in the heart of the old village. Nearby, the trails lead to the remarkable state forest. A stone's throw away, HESDIN and its belfry, the marshes and hillsides of the 7 Valleys and 30 min away, the Opal Coast. The space Welcome to Bout de Bois, the house we live in and have been transforming into a guest house since our arrival in the 7 Vallées in 2016. The guest room with its private bathroom is upstairs. For couples of friends, possibly with children, we can exceptionally open a second bedroom, the artist's room that communicates with the bathroom and the first bedroom, as well as a dormitory arranged in the attic. We provide a small fridge for your drinks or travel supplies. On the other hand, we do not allow meals in the room or picnics outdoors. Breakfast service can be done according to your wishes in the garden, in the old workshop or inside if the weather is not good. We are vegetarians. Breakfasts are continental. We want to serve you fresh, local products from organic farming. Vegans or guests with a special diet will have breakfast tailored to their diet. In any case, consult us for any special requests. Guest access The library lounge is always open for your relaxation or work (guest desk). The dining room is open for breakfast indoors. The old workshop opening onto the courtyard is a lounge that you can use for your relaxation or to smoke away from the rain. We will serve you breakfast there if you wish or if the weather prevents you from taking it in the garden. You can enjoy the garden for your relaxation or for breakfast. Please note that we do not allow picnics in these spaces or in your room. During your stay We welcome you at the end of the afternoon upon your arrival and respect your privacy, although we are very open to discussion and of course, at your disposal for all your needs and requests for information. We are not noisy and want to share a relaxing atmosphere with our guests.
