Other things to note Lüßvitz is nestled in the picturesque nature of Rügen, right on the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The surroundings impress with wide fields, green meadows, small forests and the close proximity to the Kubitzer Bodden. Here you will find deep peace and relaxation close to nature. The ideal starting point for activities, hikes and bike tours. Surfers and kitesurfers will find excellent conditions at the nearby campsite on Ummanz. The water is about 400 meters away. The nearest swimming spot in Waase and Lieschow is about 10 minutes away by car. Other popular beaches are in Prora, Glowe, Binz, Göhren, Babe and Altefähr, just to name a few. In Gingst and Samtens, about 10 minutes away by car, there is a supermarket and a bakery for fresh rolls and other purchases. A bicycle rental, restaurants and a pharmacy are in Gingst.
