Brookes Cottage, Butley

Peaceful and well-equipped holiday cottage between forest and coast. Lots of outdoor space. Woodburning stove. Great walks and wildlife on your doorstep. Sorry, no dogs. The space Brookes Cottage is a converted barn building nestled next to a Suffolk farmhouse (Brookes) with 16th century origins. We generate our own electricity from solar panels on site and central heating is provided by a wood pellet boiler (and your own wood burning stove, if you want to feel really cosy). The cottage has a double bedroom with superking size bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room has a large comfy sofa and armchairs and a dining table that seats four. An electric hob and cooker, kettle, toaster and dishwasher are provided in the kitchen area, as well plenty of cooking utensils and a store cupboard of basic ingredients - perfect for self-catering. Please note: There is no TV (but you can access the good wifi). Guest access Guests have the whole of the cottage to themselves and are free to explore the large at their leisure. There is plenty of car parking space and it is a very short walk from here to the private entrance of the cottage - but please note this is a grassy and, at times, uneven path so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Other things to note Self check in and private entrance to the cottage mean there is no need to come into contact with anyone else at the property. Freshly laundered linen and towels are provided. There is a radio but no TV (bring your own device if you want to watch via wifi). Iron and ironing board, travel cot and non-slip bath mats can be provided on request.
