Banlicken Arran Farmhouse is an idyllic, romantic & remote holiday house, beautifully decorated, combining comfort with contemporary & superb sea views. 4 lovely bedrooms all with sea view, 3 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen & dining area, games room with table tennis & a cosy sitting room with open fire. Easy access to coast for spotting otters, dolphins, porpoises & seals. The Isle of Arran is famed for it's hillwalking, it's wild countryside, boat trips, historic castles & so much more. The space Banlicken - Property Overview: Kitchen/ Dining room – Electric Range cooker with fan oven, conventional oven, grill and warming drawer. Hob top with 5 rings & warming plate. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, CD player. Child's highchair, iron & ironing board ‍Sitting Room – 2 large sofas & chairs providing seating for 8 people, satellite 42in TV, DVD player (many DVD’s ), music via Bluetooth speakers, lovely open fire (coal & kindling supplied), books & board games. Bedroom Layout – 4 x Bedrooms, 3 x Bathrooms All bedrooms have a sea view, master bedroom and Byre cottage have the best ones. - Bedroom 1 - Master bedroom with kingsize bed - fantastic views west of Kilbrannan sound, Kintyre & wonderful sunsets - Bedroom 2 - Twin room - 2 x single beds - Main Bathroom - Vintage double ended bath with shower over, wash basin & WC - Bedroom 3 - Bunk bedroom - lower bunk with double bed, single upper bunk - Shower room - Walk in shower, wash basin & WC - Bedroom 4 at our annexe 'Byre Cottage' - ‘Family’ bedroom & en-suite bathroom. Byre Cottage sleeps up to 5 & includes: King size bed, 1 x bunk beds & additional 1 x single bed. Own bathroom - Bath & shower over, wash basin & WC. Garden - Patio area with table & seating for 10, 3 bench seats to enjoy the varied views of the garden, 1 hammock, 4 foldaway garden chairs. The garden is tiered into the hillside with a small burn running through it, a lawn area and also natural hillside with local flora & fauna. Follow the path down to the beach on a dramatic hillside (not for the elderly or very young!) through a natural woodland with native plants & flowers. Ample parking for 4 cars outside house + more on track. Play Barn – Table tennis table, bats & balls, table & chairs, sofas & seating area Guest access Guests are able to access the whole property and gardens and gain easy access to the beach, seaside and countryside. Other things to note Please be aware that check in days are ideally Thursdays & Sundays for both short breaks and week long stays.
