Description
Citq: 305443: A complete chalet in Rivière-à-Pierre. You will feel like you are in real nature. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the land is directly bounded by the lake. The chalet terrace is huge. You have access to a barbecue, a pedal boat, a hot tub, 2 kayaks and a very large mosquito net (from June to September only). Note, there is a railway a few meters from the chalet, you will certainly have fun greeting the train driver ;) The space The chalet has just undergone a major renovation. In November 2025, it was raised and new foundations were installed. You have access to the new basement, if you are curious, but this portion is not completed. The chalet remains at the same low price as when there was no basement. You also have access to the garage, the back door will be unlocked during your stay. To open the large garage door, pull the latch that blocks the door inside. Frequently asked questions 🙂: - Bedroom 1 is large and has a breathtaking view. We often sleep with the curtains open to wake up to this view. - Bedroom 2 is special, originally it was 2 separate bedrooms, but when we bought it, the city planner told us that we could not have more than 2 bedrooms in the chalet. We had to condemn a door and we made an opening between the 2 rooms, which is what gives it this curious appearance. However, children love this arrangement. - We have an artesian well, so the water is potable. - There are neighbors, one is quite far away, on the other side of a ditch and hidden by a long edge of trees. The other is about twenty meters away, but it is very little used. There is no neighbor in front (it's the railway, the road and woods) and at the back it's the lake. Guest access The entire property is available for your use. You can enter the garage through the back door, but not through the front door because it is broken. Other things to note As mentioned in the ad, there is a railway that passes near the chalet. The train passes every day (often around 6-7 a.m.) and more than once a day. Personally, we love watching the locomotive pass, it's really impressive. The children rush to greet the train driver and he answers us every time. It's the event of the century for our little family. We love our train and its whistles, however, if you think it won't be your case... I wouldn't recommend renting this chalet. The train is our neighbor, it always will be, and there's nothing I can do to change that. Registration Details Quebec - Registration number 305443, expires: 2026-08-01T00:00:00Z
