Nostalgic summer paradise - House by the Oslofjord

Short distance to Oslo (40 min), Drammen, Asker and Drøbak (20 min). Located by the Coastal Trail. 15m to the lake, deep water jetty, private jetty for tenant and landlord. Rowboat available. Walking distance to the store. 5 min by car to Sætre with restaurants, local center and liquor store. The space The cabin is located by the coastal path between Åros and Båtstø. The coastal trail is a popular weekend getaway. The location is quiet in residential areas with little traffic, along quiet small roads that wind past some cabins and some permanent residents. It is beautifully located overlooking the nature reserve Gråøya and among others Killingholmen. Håøya is also nearby. Walking distance to grocery store (Rema 1000) 5 min by car to the cozy village of Sætre with restaurants, ice cream sales, local center and liquor store. There is also a nice little sandy beach. Årosstranda is also right next to the long beach and lawn and toilet. Approx. 5 minutes to walk. Guest access "Gamlestua" is a small restored house, originally from 1865, which is cozy in the garden on our property. It is located together with a 100-year-old whitewashed house in an idyllic garden with a "beach line". The place is suitable for quiet relaxation and sea life. We live in the main house ourselves and are available and helpful to our guests. In addition, there is a small boathouse on the property, which serves as an annex with sleeping space for two people. The balcony belonging to Gamlestua is private for guests. Garden and jetty can be used freely, but shared with us. Rowboat, - a Holmsbupram, can also be used. (Two life jackets can be borrowed, otherwise this must be brought by the guests themselves.) There is a deep water jetty where guests can also moor their boat. Smoking is allowed on the balcony and outdoors. There has previously been smoking indoors here. Allergy sufferers are made aware of this. SWIMMING AND SUNBATHING It is only 15 meters to the seashore with a jetty where you can sunbathe and swim. There is a bathing ladder right out on deep water, but also possible to go out with bathing shoes on slightly less deep water, but quite abrupt deep. If you want a long beach, it is located nearby. Morning sun and sun all day. Morning bath is recommended! Midsummer the sun is here until about 5:30 pm. If the sun thirst is not quenched by then, it is possible to row out to the evening sun on islands and islets. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT, LAYOUT AND STANDARD: It can accommodate up to 5 guests. MAIN CABIN The main cabin has two single beds in a separate bedroom on the second floor. These can be put together to form a double bed if desired. Usually it is good and airy, with a nice cool sea breeze at night. The cabin is insulated. The third single bed is in a room with passage to the master bedroom. Thus best suited for couples with children, or very good friends if you are 3 people. The cabin has a regular housing standard with hot and cold water, electricity and ordinary water toilet. Living room with open kitchen, dining area and sofa, as well as bathroom with shower and separate toilet are located on the 1st floor in the Old living room. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and fridge with a small freezer. Dishes are washed by hand. Washing machine is available on the ground floor Barbecue can be done in the beautiful old fireplace that is the center of the living room (ask us for instructions) ANNEX/BOATHOUSE An 8 m2 house at the lake with two beds. This one has no running water inside. Kitchen and bathroom/toilet must be used in the Old Living Room. This has three windows that provide good ventilation on hot days.
