Nostalgic summer paradise - House by the Oslofjord

Short distance to Oslo(40 min), Drammen, Asker and Drøbak 20 min). Located on the Coastal Trail. 15m to the lake, deep water jetty, private dock for tenant and landlord. Rowboat available. Walking distance to shop. 5 min by car to Sætre with restaurants, nearby center and wine monopoly. The space The cabin is located by the coastal path between Åros and Båtstø. The coastal path is a popular outbound spot on weekends. The location is quiet in residential areas with little traffic, along quiet small road that winds past some cabins and some permanent residents. It is beautifully located overlooking the nature reserve Gråøya and bla. Killingholmen. Håøya is also nearby. Walking distance to grocery store (Rema 1000) 5 min by car to the cozy village of Sætre with restaurants, ice cream sale, nearby center and wine monopoly. Here is also a nice little sandy beach. Årosstranda is also right next door with shallow beach and lawn and toilet. About 5 min walk. Guest access "Gamlestua" is a small restored house, originally from 1865, located cozy in the garden of our property. It is located together with a 100 years old white painted house in an idyllic garden with "shoreline". The place is suitable for quiet relaxation and sea life. We live in the main house ourselves and are available and helpful to our guests. In addition, there is a small sea stall on the property, which serves as an annex with a sleeping area for two people. The balcony belonging to Gamlestua is private for guests. Garden and jetty can be used freely, but shared with us. Rowboat,- a Holmsbupram, can also be used. (Two life vests on loan, otherwise this must be brought by the guests themselves.) There is a deep water jetty where guests can moor their boat as well. Smoking allowed on the balcony and outside. It's been smoked indoors in the past. Allergies are made aware of this. SWIMMING and SUN It is only 15 meters to squeak to the seafront with a jetty where you can sunbathe and swim. There are bathing ladders straight out on deep water, but also possible to go in with swimming shoes on a little less deep water, but quite rushed. If you want shallow beach, then it is located nearby. Morning sun and sun all day. Morning bath is recommended! Midsummer is the sun here until about 5:30 pm. If the sun-dryer is not extinguished until then, then it is possible to row out to the evening sun on the islands and islets. BEDROOM EVENT, LAYOUT AND STANDARD: It can accommodate up to 5 guests. THE MAIN CABIN Main cabin has two single beds in separate bedroom on the second floor. These can be combined into a double bed if desired. Usually it's good and airy, with delicious cool sea breezes at night. The cabin is insulated. The third single bed is in rooms with a walk-through to the master bedroom. Thus best suited for couples with children, or very good friends if you are 3 people. The cabin has regular housing standard with running hot and cold water, electricity and ordinary water toilet. Living room with open kitchen, dining area and sofa, as well as bathroom with shower and separate toilet is located on the 1st floor of Gamlestua. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and fridge with a small freezer. Dish by hand. Washing machine is available on the ground floor Barbecue can be done in the great old fireplace which is the centerpiece of the living room (please ask us for instructions) ANNEX/lake STALL One 8 m2 of sea storage with two beds. This one has no running running out of water. Kitchen and bathroom / WC must be used in Gamlestua. This has 3 windows that provide good airing on hot days.
