Description
Plenty of room to spread out in this self contained converted stable block (34' x 12'). Owners just a short stroll away and contactable throughout your stay. There are no sofa beds as we wanted a luxurious large space for two people although would be suitable to bring a baby and we are able to supply a travel cot. There are wonderful walks directly from the Stables and a well behaved dog is welcome. The space The Stables are attached to the Lodge with a shared courtyard (separated by a plant screen) and large driveway with the Stables allocated 2 spaces. There’s a fully equipped large lounge kitchen/diner and double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Outside is a seating area in a south-facing courtyard. Guests are welcome to wander around the extensive grounds and use the tennis court. The property has a gated entrance and lies adjacent to the Black Horse pub where many guests enjoy a drink/dinner. Situated on the crest of the North Downs there are lovely local walks in this quiet little hamlet. The villages of Bearsted and Detling are a mile away and the M2 and M20 just a couple of miles away for easy access to many attractions across Kent. Guest access Guests have full access to a hard tennis court in the grounds during their stay. Other things to note We have two Labradors and two cats living on the property, so you may see them in the grounds but they are very friendly and the dogs are always accompanied. We are fortunate to have pheasants and French partridge wandering around as well. We accept a well behaved dog in the Stables.
