The space A bold, barrel-shaped building, The Shore Cottage offers spectacular, constantly changing views of sea, sky and mountain. A sense of space, light and tranquility flood the apartment from morning to nightfall. Here, outside is inside, with the open-plan kitchen and dining area leading out onto a generous patio. Fully equipped for all your culinary requirements, Shore Cottage has a modern cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer, as well as an outdoor barbeque. The lounge and dining area includes beautifully upholstered furniture and floor coverings in world-famous Anta tweed and a specially commissioned dining table. Effortlessly combining traditional and contemporary, Shore Cottage offers a wood-burning stove, a state-of-the-art home entertainment system and Wi-Fi. Shore Cottage features a fabulous 7ft feather-topped bed in leather and finished steel designed by artist blacksmith Sam Barlow. Adjacent to the bedroom, the bathroom area has a walk-in double shower lined with polished Caithness stone. There are two baths – both designed to accommodate two people – one of which is outdoors on the secluded patio area overlooking the sea. Every aspect of Shore Cottage has been carefully planned and crafted, from the gorgeous drop curtains in the bedroom to the unique towel rails and door handles throughout. Honest natural fabrics and materials have been incorporated into the design and build of Shore Cottage. From ceramics by Lotte Glob to the meticulous stonework surrounding and protecting the property, everything is tactile and true to the touch. Guest access Guests have full private access to all areas of the cottage. There are no hidden extras - all fuel for fire etc. is supplied.
