Tiny house on the edge of the forest, temporary escape

The old construction trailer created something special with lots of wood and love. Five windows and a glass door provide light and views of the garden and forest. With the modern kitchenette and small bathroom, the wagon offers everything for a break in Lower Lusatia. The right place to read, write, meditate, cook, stargaze, mushroom pick (dehydrator available), feed chickens, for campfires, forest walks and animal watching. The space We completely renovated and rebuilt the nearly 50-year-old former GDR passenger car in 2025: The interior is designed with lots of wood; for the bed built on the front side, we used old wood from a shed that was previously in this place. A modern kitchenette with two induction hobs, a small oven, dishwasher and espresso machine offers everything a kitchen needs. From the table you can enjoy the view into the spacious garden. On the other end of the wagon is a small bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Air conditioning and heating provide cool or warm as needed. Intelligent room layout creates an amazingly spacious feeling inside, while retaining the original trailer character. Outside, the wagon is completely covered with larch wood. A small terrace with mobile fire pit allows for nice hours outdoors. Guest access Guests have use of the tiny house with terrace and garden. Other guests or we will occasionally be in the garden. Other things to note If the car is booked for the date you chose, we still have a guest suite for two people on the same property. The kitchen is fully furnished but not very large. If you need a certain baking dish, another knife, a drying machine for the collected mushrooms, a waffle iron or whatever, we will be happy to take it out of our household. Our little village is quite secluded. If you come by train, I'll be happy to pick you up in Walddrehna. The property has three cats and chickens. Pets are welcome if they get along with ours.
