Converted barn in beautiful Cotswolds countryside

Having undergone extensive refurbishment, we are delighted to reopen the doors (as of August ‘26) to our beautiful converted stone barn in Middle Duntisbourne. The barn is situated near Cirencester, is within the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty and is surrounded by beautiful countryside in a traditional quintessential Cotswolds hamlet. The space The Old House Barn is a traditional Cotswold stone barn, dating back to the 17th century, newly refurbished to a high standard. There is an open plan living area with double height ceilings and beautiful exposed oak beams, incorporating a fully - equipped kitchen with cooking range, washing machine/ dryer, dish washer and fridge freezer. The living area provides a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the spectacular surroundings, with a large smart TV and log burner. There is high speed WiFi. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is a spacious area situated on a mezzanine level above the open plan area of the barn, and the other in the cosy setting under the mezzanine area. The bathroom has a roll top deep bath, powerful shower and under floor heating. The barn is self- contained and has an outside patio area to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside and grazing farm animals. There is parking for 2 cars to the rear, and space to store bicycles if needed. Guest access We are quite remote so a car is needed to get around. Once you’re here there are plenty of walks nearby Other things to note Please note that the steps leading to the mezzanine bedroom area are quite steep and awkward so unfortunately they would be unsuitable for people with mobility limitations. Extra care should be taken by all going up and down these stairs. Extra care should be taken if the log burner is in use as it is free standing and of course gets extremely hot. Particular care should be taken if you have young children. We welcome two well-behaved small dogs or one medium-sized or large dog. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing your dog(s) as there is a small fee. We kindly request that you don’t allow your dogs on the sofa and bed- thank you.
