House Olivo: Relax & Pool in Trapani Countryside

Cozy house with a separate entrance in a charming 1807 baglio, within a fenced area shared with two other homes (one bookable from the link: airbnb.com/h/casa-melograno-piscina and one inhabited by my family in summer). Immersed in the countryside, a few minutes from the sea, from Trapani, Erice, Segesta and San Vito Lo Capo, it offers a beautiful swimming pool ideal for moments of pure relaxation and to better experience western Sicily. The space The country house with a swimming pool near the sea of Trapani is located in a strategic position, halfway between the gentle hills of Erice and the fascinating ruins of Segesta. Immersed in tranquility, it offers a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the hills, perfect for relaxing while sipping a glass of wine. The house is part of the renovation of an ancient baglio — a typical rural house developed around a central courtyard — and has an infinity pool open in the summer months, overlooking Castel Maurigi di Ballata (Erice). The building is divided into three apartments, each with its own entrance: two are reserved for guests, while one is used by my family. Although some outdoor spaces are shared, the layout of the baglio and the accommodations guarantees excellent privacy and an atmosphere of total relaxation. It is the ideal starting point to visit the main destinations of western Sicily: the wonderful salt pans of Trapani, the archaeological site of Segesta, the enchanting medieval village of Erice, the crystal clear sea of San Vito Lo Capo, the suggestive Gulf of Macari and Castellammare del Golfo. In addition, you can organize boat trips to the beautiful islands of Favignana and Levanzo. Casa Olivo, with a separate entrance, can accommodate up to 5 people. All the windows overlook the gardens, overlooking the Agro-Ericino countryside and the castle. Only one car can be parked inside the fenced area. The house is divided as follows: 1 bedroom on the ground floor that sleeps 2 (double bed), two closets, a cabinet with four drawers and a window overlooking the Arabian garden, as well as an access door. 1 bedroom on the first floor with 2 beds (double bed), built-in wardrobe, cabinet with drawers, roof window and door. 1 bedroom on the first floor with 1 bed (single bed), wardrobe and window overlooking the pool and the countryside and the castle; the room has no door. On the ground floor is the kitchen, equipped with a gas stove and oven, a maxi refrigerator with a freezer and everything you need to cook. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a standard shower, shampoo, body wash and towels. The house does not have a washing machine. However, all linen for the interior is provided, along with cleaning essentials and basic items such as oil, salt, sugar and coffee. To maintain a pleasant and healthy environment for all guests, smoking is prohibited both inside the house and outside. Please also note that towels are not provided for the pool or the sea. The outdoor space, while being shared with the other guests of the baglio, is organized in such a way as to guarantee privacy, tranquility and the possibility of experiencing every moment in total relaxation. It is equipped with a table, chairs and barbecue for outdoor dinners, while the poolside solarium has sun loungers, deckchairs and an outdoor shower, perfect for fully enjoying the sun and the Sicilian atmosphere. Guest access A few minutes from the sea and Trapani, Casa Olivo offers free WiFi and is located within a private area closed by a gate, where you can park one car for free and relax on cool summer evenings. The outdoor area is under video surveillance to ensure greater security for guests. Guests of Casa Olivo and Casa Melograno can enjoy large common areas equipped with barbecues, swings, a solarium with deckchairs and parasols, and a beautiful shared swimming pool, open in the summer months, 10 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a comfortable beach. The house is not equipped with a washing machine and no pool or beach towels are provided. Other things to note All outdoor spaces, swimming pool, barbecue and patio are shared with other guests of Casa Melograno (airbnb.it/h/casa-melograno-piscina) and with our family. Sets of towels and sheets will be available upon your arrival. No extra charge. In the summer months, the infinity pool is available for guests of the property. The pool solarium is equipped with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. Access to and use of the sun loungers and deckchairs are free of charge. Smoking is prohibited throughout the indoor and outdoor area. Only one car can be parked inside the fenced area.
