Clopton Courtyard is a series of unique barn conversions, which overlook a tranquil courtyard in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Countryside. With private access to two wood burning hot tubs and gorgeous views of the countryside from the back of the property, this is a perfect place to celebrate, relax and unwind. With Cambridge just 20 minutes away by car, Clopton Courtyard provides an excellent spot from which to explore this historic city. Or stay local with a walk/ pub lunch. Sleeps 12. Clopton Courtyard is set in the midst of the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. Alice Barn, Lily Barn, Matilda Studio and The Sheringham Hut (which are included with this listing) are among a series of six barns that have been built with an eco conscience, with timber frame structures and recycled building materials. They are also fuelled by a biomass boiler using renewable energy (which keeps the underfloor heating toasty warm). Each main barn has its own unique name, character and style, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan living area and kitchen. Matilda Studio offers open plan living and sleeping, while The Sheringham Hut provides a contemporary glamping space (sharing facilities with Lily Barn). Lily Barn has a large table that can seat 10 people and a larger living space in which to congregate as a group. Request our trestle table for more seating space. There is also plenty of outdoor space in which to venture and relax, with lovely undisturbed views of the open countryside. You can sit and watch the horses in the livery next door, read a book in the sun trap courtyard or chill out with a glass of bubbles in one of the two wood burning hot tubs. With Cambridge only 12 miles away (20 minute drive), it is easy access into the centre by car for those wishing to explore this historic city, whilst also looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday or work environment, or somewhere lovely to celebrate a special occasion. There is also plenty to do locally including Burwash Manor, Wimpole Hall and lots of tasty gastro pubs a drive away. With The Wood Grill Pub and Crane's cider tastings also accessible by foot along country paths. Clopton Courtyard is fully equipped for those looking for self catering accommodation but who want a little bit of extra luxury and peace. This listing is for Alice Barn, Lily Barn, Matilda Studio and The Sheringham Hut (shares facilities with Lily Barn - including kitchen and bathroom). This listing is for 12 people max and includes private use of 2 hot tubs, which sit outside Lily and Alice Barns in semi enclosed gardens which are for this listing only. Please note that this if you book through this listing, you will be sharing our communal facilities with another group; this includes the BBQ, picnic benches, fire pit and some outside spaces. If you want exclusive use, please see our listing for 24 +. Our weekend stays in 2025 and 2026 are min 3 nights (Friday - Monday) for all bank holidays, between June - August, plus Christmas and NYE and min 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) for the rest of the year. Occasionally we offer 2 night stays during peak season so contact us for special rates. PARTIES Under no circumstances do we allow additional guests to use the premises beyond what is agreed on your booking. We can allow a maximum of 2 additional guests to stay; with advance agreement required. We charge £50 extra per night for each extra guest (max 2). HEN DOS We welcome respectful and considerate hen groups. STAG DOS I'm afraid we DO NOT accept stag dos. EXTRAS TRAVEL COT If you require a travel cot, please request this with at least 1 weeks notice. We have one on the property, but it does not come as standard in each barn. PETS If you wish to bring a dog, a fee of £25 per dog applies. A maximum of 2 dogs is permitted and please confirm this when you book. No other animals are permitted. Guest access All communal areas including the two wood burning hot tubs (which sit outside Lily and Alice Barns) , BBQ facilities, large dutch barn with picnic benches and views of the country, the courtyard and Lily Barn, Alice Barn, Matilda Studio and The Sheringham Hut. If you decide to go for a countryside walk, please ensure you stick to public footpaths only.
