High House Cottage is nestled away in a beautiful, secluded & tranquil spot on Addingham Moorside (adjacent to the famous Ilkley Moor). It‘a a short drive or stroll to Addingham, Ilkley, Skipton or Bolton Abbey. There is a train station in Ilkley with a 28 minute connection to Leeds. It’s the perfect place to base yourself to explore the stunning beauty & interesting stuff the region has to offer. Situated on Dales highway / Millenium Way footpath so fantastic walks are on your doorstep 👍🏻 The space Cosy yet spacious cottage in a secluded, south facing ‘get away from it all’ location but close to village centre. Would suit walkers, cyclists, couples, families & all those wishing to explore the local area. Thought to have originally been a cow shed & attached to the main farmhouse (family home) dating back to 1690s. Very private with its own access, parking & garden. Furnished with families & couples in mind, the cottage would also suit walkers or cyclists. Sociable and well behaved dogs & pets very welcome - please note we make no additional charges for pets because we appreciate they’re part of the family. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the whole house, garden & all fields immediately adjacent to property. Other things to note Access is down a farm track that is rough in areas. Although it might appear daunting at first, we use it every day in normal cars with no problem but encourage you take care until you get to know it a bit. The cottage is set up primarily for families and couples. If you have any special requirements that aren't detailed in the listing information, please do not hesitate to ask us in advance. We do not accept groups or people wanting to host parties in the cottage. That said - if you are seeing friends or family in the local area - they are 100% welcome to come & hang out or stay over. If the latter, please let us know in advance if you require additional bedding. There is no charge for this. We pledge to make a personal donation equal to 10% of the total booking revenue we receive from Airbnb to Alzheimer’s charities.
