The cottage was converted in 2012 from outbuildings near the main category II listed building dating back to the 17th century. Consisting of entrance hall, kitchen/diner and living room on ground floor, then upstairs to two twin rooms and shower room. Two twin bedrooms have roof lights giving views of fields to rear as do the windows in the kitchen and living room. Extra sleeping is available with two twin sofa beds in the living room. The space A self-contained cosy cottage sympathetically refurbished in the grounds of a Grade II listed building, comprising two twin bedrooms, living room with two double sofa beds, shower/toilet, kitchen diner, central heating, wifi, secure off-street parking, access to private garden, complimentary breakfast pack, English breakfast pack available on request (extra charge). In the historical village of Bottesford, the Capital of the Vale of Belvoir, only 3 miles from Belvoir Castle, with easy access to Newark, Nottingham, Grantham and the A1. A host of shops, pubs, restaurants and take-aways are all in walking distance (5 minutes). A peaceful setting giving good access for walking, cycling, attending public and private events or maybe just to get away from it all. Also a good base for local business. Our animals (cats and chickens) tend to wander around the yard as do our friendly dogs, who are kept in the secure area allowing you to come and go without running the gauntlet of muddy paws and wet noses! Home from home, independent accommodation for all. A welcome pack will be provided on arrival with bread, butter, local jams, milk, tea, coffee and cereals to get you started. Guest access Guest access to the cottage is separate from the main house and on the other side of the cobbled drive. Parking is through an electrically operated five bar wooden gate via a supplied key fob. Other things to note If you are in great need of a washing machine then you can use ours when we are around. A small tumble dryer is also available. Access to the garden at the front of the main house is available to guests.
