Flat 4 - Cliff House

Comfortable, quiet, harbour-front holiday apartment with spectacular views and accommodation for 4 (we can take 6 but send a message to us before booking if there are more than 4 in your party) on the edge of Seahouses. Views out to the Farne Islands where you can see countless sea birds - or stay put and watch the wildlife from the apartment. We do use our flat whenever we can but are keen to share it rather than leaving it empty - everyone is welcome. Get in touch if you have any questions. The space The views from the flat are second to none in this area - with an uninterrupted view over the harbour and out to the Farne Islands (we have seen harbour porpoises, dolphins, seals and (only once) an orca from the living room!). The flat has been a family holiday home for about 30 years and so the property has a cosy, homely ambience. While it is fantastic sitting out on the balcony on a warm summer's eve, the property is equally enticing on a stormy winter's day with the log fire raging. Other things to note Whist our usual minimum stay is 3 nights, if you only want 2 nights please get in touch - I’m sure we’ll be able to accommodate you if there’s room on our calendar. Also, we advertise that the flat is not suitable for young children - this is just so that you check with us first so that you know the risks (nothing out of the ordinary - just a fireplace, first floor balcony, a few internal stairs, floor-level radiators, unprotected table edges and drawers etc) - again, get in touch! IMPORTANT NOTE: While we do request that guests do not bring pets, family members do have dogs which sometimes accompany them on holiday to the flat so we cannot guarantee that it is a dog-hair-free environment for those suffering from allergies. We do try to keep the place free of animal hair as we have allergies in the family - let us know beforehand so we can make it a specific focus for cleaning.
