Beautiful appartment, very close to city centre

Are you looking for a beautiful upstairs apartment with balcony, within walking distance of the Westerhaven, the Vismarkt and the Grote Markt in Groningen? Then you have found it now. Fully equipped, spacious (about 75m2), this is the ideal base for exploring Groningen. The Noorderplantsoen (ideal for Noorderzon and on a lovely summer day) is just around the corner. You can park in the neighborhood, or at the Q-Park under the Mediamarkt. 0014 FE38 E11E 5067 74B4 The space The apartment offers a beautiful and stylish living room with kitchen and dinner area. The living room gives acces to a balcony. On the topfloor there are 2 bedrooms (the large one with a kingsize bed and the small one with a single bed), as well as the bathroom with toiler, bath, shower and wash/dry combination. Due to the size of bedroom 2, the apartment is furnished for 3 people. It is possible to add an luxureous inflatable bed in the small bedroom, to accomodate 4 guests in total. If this is required, please contact me prior to booking, to discuss the pricing. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, also for longer term stays. This includes dishwasher, wash/dry combination, ironing board, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, microwave/oven combination, well equipped kitchen (including pans, cutlery, etc) and linen. In order to make sure you are safe during your stay, fire extinguishers, a fire blanket, First Aid kit, a CO detector, and smoke detectors are available. Due to steep stairways (well, it is a house from the 1890-ies, so yeah, it has its charmes), the apartment is less suitable for small kids and disabled people. During loverly summer days and evenings, it is possible to make use of my courtyard, which can be discussed during your stay. Guest access Guest have access to all rooms in the upstairs apartment. Please note that the steep staircases are less suitable for small children and disabled people. Other things to note Important: Due to a change in parking policy, I no longer can offer free parking, the new policy does not allow me to. Please park in Q-Park Westerhaven. With a parking app it might be possible to park in the neighbourhood. Due to a VAT increase per 1-1-2025, I am forced to increase the price per night a bit. The price increase partly covers the VAT increase. Also note that driving in the city can be a bit confusing if you're unfamiliar with the city.
