The grandparent's house

A casa de nono is a rustic and familiar B&B in Domio, in the municipality of San Dorligo della Valle. Once home to my grandparents, today it welcomes every guest like a friend. The rooms on the ground floor smell of wood and memory, while the breakfast room, with homemade sweets and garden fruits, invites sharing. In the garden you can relax and get to know all our animals. We are close to the Rosandra Valley and 15 minutes from the center of Trieste. The space The rooms: We have three double rooms, each unique, furnished with antique furniture and handmade pieces made in the family. The 19th century closets bring with them the charm of time, while the desk, nightstands, and suitcase door, handcrafted by my dad, tell about the love of wood and things done with the heart. Each room has: • Private bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet, towels and hairdryer • Fast Wi-Fi, TV, safe, and minibar • Comfortable mattresses and bed linen. Guest access The breakfast room: breakfast is served in a separate building, built specifically to welcome you in the best possible way. Here I made a kitchen where I make fresh bread and homemade sweets every morning, just like my grandmothers did. The central table is the same one on which my grandmother kneaded her desserts, so much so that she consumed it with her patient hands, and it is the heart of the kitchen, where gestures that smell of home are handed down. Often in my desserts you will find the fruit harvested by us. During your stay, I remain available for advice, suggestions, and small details, but always respecting everyone's time and space. Other things to note You can park for free along the road and leave your bicycles inside the courtyard.
