Character house in the heart of the Basque mountains

In the heart of the Basque mountains on the heights of Ossès, 400 m above sea level, come and discover our renovated farmhouse of 90 m2 and its outbuilding of 50 m2, offering comfort, calm and relaxation! While respecting health measures, I will be happy to host you in my haven. Hiking trails from the cottage; Spain and St Jean Pied de Port 15 min away; many tourist sites nearby. The space Our gîte, fully fenced, consists of, on the ground floor: - a fully equipped kitchen with oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and refrigerator with freezer compartments. - a living room with sofas, TV and DVD player. - a master suite with separate shower room and separate toilet, including 1 bed 160 and 1 bed 90 and plenty of storage. - a second shower room with toilet and washing machine. Upstairs, - a large bedroom with 1 bed 160 and plenty of storage. - a bedroom with a 140 bed and plenty of storage. - a separate toilet with hand basin In the 50 m2 outbuilding, you can store your bikes or other items. There is a ping pong table, BBQ, plancha, dartboard, and two deckchairs. A garden table and parasol are installed outside in the shade of the trees. Private and fully enclosed courtyard of 200 m2. Our gîte is 4 km from the shopping area of Ossès. You can find a Leclerc with a gas pump, many local shops and producers, and a bakery. Near the gîte: - many hiking or biking trails from the cottage - 4 restaurants in Ossès, including the Etxeko Borda inn 100 meters away that will delight you with its traditional cuisine. - an equestrian center in Ossès - sports activities (rafting, paragliding...) 10 minutes away - Saint Jean Pied de Port 15 minutes away - the Spanish border is 20 minutes away - the thermal baths of Cambo les Bains and Espelette 20 min away - the Gulf of Bassussarry 35 minutes away - the beaches of Biarritz and Anglet 40 minutes away - Iraty Forest 45 minutes away Baby cot on request. 75 euro cleaning fee ON REQUEST Security deposit of 400 euros returned at the end of the stay. Linen and sheets are not provided We accept your small and medium-sized pets. We ask that you do not leave them alone in the lodging in your absence, we make the outbuilding available to them. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and its fully fenced yard accommodation is located at the back, totally independent of the house (it is for rent via Gîte Pays Basque) We do not accept charging of electric cars. A terminal is provided for this purpose in the village. Other things to note On the day of departure, we ask that the cleaning be done. If people wish, we can take care of it for a contribution of 75.00 euros this amount is not included in the package! We only accept very small pets (1 only)
