The Hide is a haven for peace and tranquillity. Sit and relax watching the wildlife from this beautiful lakeside log cabin. The space Enjoy the three acres of secluded park like gardens and lakes together with our adjacent three acre private woodland. The Hide is the only log cabin and so complete privacy is assured. Unfortunately, due to repeated visits by the otter from the nearby river Avon, there are no longer any sizeable fish in the lake, so not suitable for fishing. Guest access There is ample space for parking which is protected by electric gates and CCTV cameras covering the parking area. There is a Tesla EV charger (7kw) available which can charge non-Tesla EVs. Guests have full and unfettered access to the entire lake area of the garden. It is fully fenced off from the garden surrounding the main house. There are no other Log Cabins, The Hide is the only one, so complete privacy is assured. There is unrestricted access to the adjacent private woodland which has many woodland walks to enjoy. There are 16 steps down to The Hide but these are well maintained, well illuminated by sensor lights and pretty easy to navigate. Other things to note Apart from the New Forest National Park the Hide is well placed for exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic coast, the Cathedral city of Salisbury, Christchurch with its magnificent Priory and the historic Port of Poole and Poole Harbour.
