Unique getaway in stunning riverside setting

The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement). The space The bedroom is upstairs; our new super king double bed can be made into two single beds, with fresh White Company linen. We have built a fabulous en suite bathroom with double ended bath and modern fittings. Downstairs is a vaulted open plan fully fitted kitchen and sitting room, with large sofa and comfy chair (we have just changed from a corner sofa as it was not very comfortable - photos to follow), rugs, wood burner (wood provided), TV, books and games. Off this is a laundry room (perfect for dogs to sleep) and modern shower room with underfloor heating. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the tennis court at certain times with owner's permission (tennis racquets and balls available too). There is a private area in the garden that is set aside for guests to relax. Other things to note The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with fridge, dishwasher, cooker and microwave. There is a washing machine and dryer in the utility room. A freezer is also available. PROVISIONS - tea bags, instant coffee and sugar, salt and pepper are provided. The upstairs bedroom has exposed beams, and guests may need to lower their heads on entry and exit. Dogs welcome, however to cover the extra cleaning etc, we ask for £15 per dog. Charging your car - we do not have a car charger installed - if you would like to charge your car pls let me know and you can plug into our garage - we would ask you to pay whatever it costs to charge the car.
