Experience life on a traditional 58 ft Narrowboat. It promises to be cosy and comfortable while cruising through the countryside and enjoying the majestic scenery. You will have the opportunity to steer the boat under supervision of the host or sit back and relax. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal living. We will stop at quaint villages to visit markets or museums and old pubs for a pint or pub lunch. You will have a choice of preparing your own meals or we will serve you. The space The Narrowboat (so called because it needs to be narrow to pass through the tunnels), consists of 2 cabins, an engine room, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Space o the front deck to sit and read or just enjoy the scenery. The cruising speed is around 4 miles per hour which gives you an ideal opportunity to walk alongside on the well kept tow paths. In earlier days used for the horses which towed the boats. We will stop alongside the canals where ever there is an interesting town or pub to give you time to explore. Bring your camera with to share beautiful memories with your friends on your return home. We will prepare all your meals should you just want to relax. Unfortunately no special diets.
