On the banks of the Tornionjoki River, a short walk from the center of Pellon – the whole house is at your disposal. Three bedrooms with double beds, a private electric sauna, two living areas and a glazed terrace. Sound in four rooms, including the sauna. In clear weather, with good luck, you can see the northern lights directly from the yard. Store 300 m, restaurant 150 m. There is ample parking space in the yard, engine block warmer spots, and an electric car charger. Key box 24/7. The space Kitchen: Open kitchen with an island: oven, stove top, range hood, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The whole group can fit around the dining table, and the island bar stools serve as a place for morning coffee. Coffee and basic supplies are included. Sleeping accommodations: Three bedrooms, each with a double bed – a total of six guests. There is also a workstation in one of the bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are included. Bathing facilities: Bathroom with two showers and a toilet adjacent to the sauna. Plus a separate toilet with a sink. Shampoos, conditioners and soaps ready. Sauna & wellness Electric sauna for guests only. The sauna has its own sound system. Entertainment: Two separate lounges: a living room with a Smart TV and Netflix, and a lounge adjacent to the sauna. Sound in both living areas, the sauna, and the glass-enclosed terrace, so your own music follows you from one space to another. A workstation in one of the bedrooms. Outdoor areas: A glazed terrace with a dining area and sound system – not heated, but also available in winter. The yard faces the river. Sleds are available for guests to use. Other: Washing machine. Wi-Fi. Plenty of parking space, two spaces with engine block heaters and an electric car charging point. Solar panels on the roof. Guest access All facilities are available from the upstairs apartment. Other things to note This is an entire detached house divided into two floors – there are stairs between the floors, which is good to note if there are people with reduced mobility in the group. The house is located in the center of Pellon, so shops and places to eat are within walking distance. There are fireplaces in the house, but they are decorative and not for guests to use. The house is otherwise fully heated, so it's warm inside even when it's very cold outside. Having your own car is practically essential. Public transportation in the area is infrequent, and the airports are more than a hundred kilometers away, so we recommend booking a rental car when you book your flight. In cold weather, it's a good idea to use the motorized heater spots in the yard. Check-in is via a key box, so you can arrive at your own pace, regardless of the time of day. We will send instructions well in advance of your arrival. Winter conditions should be taken into account: driveways and walkways can be snowy and slippery, and snow can fall from the roof. We recommend proper winter footwear and caution when moving around. The glazed terrace is not heated, so it's cool in winter – a nice place in daylight, but not a lounge area in freezing temperatures. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. In clear and cloudless weather, you can see them directly from the yard with good luck.
