The Cottage is a 2 bedroom property in the beautiful village of Gretton, set on the Winchcombe Way, just 2 miles from Winchcombe which has a host of pubs, restaurants and shops. The cottage has a stunning kitchen, cosy lounge, inglenook fireplace with log burning stove for the winter and gorgeous cottage charm throughout. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is walking distance and has great reviews. The space The Cottage has a large stylish kitchen diner has everything you need to cook a grand meal or hearty breakfast before a busy day exploring. The Cottage lounge has a beamed ceiling and an original inglenook fireplace fitted with a log burning stove. Welcoming sofas provide somewhere to relax after a long day. The Freeview TV means you will not miss your favourite shows. From the lounge, the staircase takes you upstairs to the Master bedroom and the second bedroom. The Master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with warm towels and a thermostatic shower. The twin bedroom can be made up as a single bed, twin or kingsize double. All the beds are covered with fresh cotton sheets and scatter cushions. The family bathroom is situated on the ground floor with underfloor heating, a roll top bath and separate shower. Outside there is a private seating area for The Cottage, as well as a terrace with large table and chairs. A gas BBQ can be hired for your stay. This fee covers the cost of gas and cleaning. There is on site private parking for one car. The Cottage sleeps 4 in total plus could accommodate one infant in a travel cot in the Master bedroom. The bedrooms are typically cottage cosy. If you prefer more space, the connected property, The Nook, has a further double bedroom and more living space and can be rented alongside The Cottage as one whole property, The Cottage and The Nook (under separate listing). Guest access You have access to the whole of The Cottage (excluding The Nook). Other things to note Bedroom 2 has twin beds but this can also be made up into a single or kingsize double room if required. A travel cot is available for your use in The Cottage but I do not provide cot bedding. For safety reasons the log burner is for use in cold weather only and you will be provided with kindling and a basket of logs. There may be other guests staying in the connected property The Nook. The Nook has independent access but there are secure interconnecting doors between the two properties. The Cottage is a semi detached cottage, you may occasionally hear the guests next door but recently installed soundproofing upstairs has improved this. The garden has some spaces that can be used by both properties. The cottage is situated on the road that goes through the village. As a result there may be road noise from traffic, especially at busy times. There is independent parking for two cars at the rear of the property and you have one space allocated. One space is larger and easier to access than the other and you may be sharing the parking area with guests who are staying at The Nook. Please be considerate about parking and make sure you are not blocking others in.
