Ideal for a Couple with Young Children Tucked within the property, the Family Unit is a cosy, self-contained wooden chalet designed for couples or small families wanting a simple yet comfortable stay in Ponta do Ouro. The space This open-plan space includes: • Bedroom: One double bed plus a sleeper couch (suitable for children under 12), air-conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom. • Kitchenette: Equipped with a fridge, counter stove with oven, kettle, and toaster — everything you need for easy holiday self-catering. Guests at the Family Unit share access to the property’s communal swimming pool and benefit from daily servicing. Bath towels are provided; please bring your own beach towels. The location couldn’t be more convenient — just across the road from Ponta do Ouro’s main beach and bay, with restaurants, markets, clothing shops, a pharmacy, and even a local bank all within walking distance. It’s a simple, practical base for enjoying Mozambique’s most vibrant beach town. Other things to note The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Should the property be booked by a group of youngsters, kindly NOTE no under-25s without parental/adult supervision. STAFF TIP There is a full-time housekeeper at the house; her compulsory daily staff tip is R50 per day, which includes the day of your arrival and departure. REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT: The Refundable Breakage Deposit of R1500 needs to be paid in full one month prior to your arrival date and will be refunded to you within 14 days after your departure date. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, a fee of R1500.00 is payable, check out by no later than 3 pm. No pets are permitted at any of the houses. Loud music, parties, and functions are not allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate in which they are staying. Absolutely no noise is allowed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
