Liston Hall Barn is a stunning converted barn located deep in the countryside of North Essex on the Parish boundary. Table tennis, Bikes , lovely walks & plenty of outdoor space make this the Perfect place for a perfect family & friends getaway! The space Our Barn has been lovingly converted to become a truly comfortable family home, with great attention to detail. A very pretty garden surrounds the property with plenty of outside dining areas. With many walks right on the doorstep, situated in a private isolated position on the edge of an old WW2 Airfield at the end of a dead-end road, Liston Hall Barn is the perfect oasis to relax in the company of your favourite people. The whole house can be exclusively yours for a Long Weekend or come with your family & relax for a week's holiday. We offer a discount for long stays. Cook for yourself in our very well-equipped modern kitchen or if you don't fancy cooking, there are plenty of great pubs to eat in the many beautiful villages in this area of North Essex. Perhaps make your stay even more special and book a local Private Chef, he is very familiar with the house and comes highly recommended ! You are welcome to borrow one of our Bikes to explore the area (Please note helmets are not provided). If however, you prefer just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet our Hot Tub provides ultimate relaxation time, there is no extra charge for the use of this and it does not require booking in advance. We provide towels for your use also, so no need to bring your own! There are three seating areas/garden, for guests use: at the front of the house where you will find the table tennis table, the back courtyard garden with a large dining table & 12 chairs & Hot Tub and to the entrance of the house there is another smaller table and chairs. All other areas of garden further back are marked private for the owners use only. Our nightly price is for 5 en-suite double bedrooms with the option of one of the beds being separated into twin beds, we also have a small double sofa bed suitable for children. We can arrange for the sofa bed to be made up on the Mezzanine room within room 2 or on the Mezzanine floor above the kitchen. Please note as this is a small double bed and the Mezzanine room is not large, it is best suited to children, not adult guests. A supplement fee for laundry may be charged for this, please enquire with Host. We are extremely close to the wonderful wedding venues of Gosfield Hall & Hedingham Castle, so ideal for your stay if you are a Wedding guest! We are also within walking distance to Gosfield golf course, so why not book a golfing break with with friends at our lovely barn. Guest access We have plenty of parking on site. If you are intending on exploring the area, a car is recommended as we are very rural! The closest pub within walking distance is approx. a half hour walk away, a nice treat to get a drink and a bite to eat on route! Other things to note Our home is strictly for the use of the named group booked, we will not accept any other guests stay without advance agreement. We will be asking for names of each guest staying along with car registration numbers of guests arriving this way. It is not our intention that our barn is to be used as a party venue, rather that it is a lovely open social space to relax & enjoy the peace and quiet away from your normal hectic life with friends & family in a lovely rural setting. We have many walks on our doorsteps and we have mountain bikes which you are welcome to use to explore the area too! Or just stay in and enjoy the tranquillity this location has to offer. We have converted outbuildings which are occupied, however they have their own space/gardens and facilities and privacy as do our guests staying in the Barn.
