Sea Pebble Rock house in Platanos, Peloponnese

Beautiful two storey house in a quiet traditional village of northern Peloponnese, built next to an ancient rock with sea pebbles! Ideal for skiing to Kalavrita Ski Center (30 min. drive), or daily trips to Cave of Lakes, Tsivlou Lake or Planiteros River. Ιn the summer, a 10 min. drive from organized Corral and Punda Beaches and even closer to Platanos and Akrata coastline. House in walking distance from the traditional square of the village, ideal for enjoying coffee/drink while children play. The space Legend has it that in prehistoric times, the coastline of Peloponnese was situated a bit further to the south. This is why, despite the fact that our house in Ano Platanos is on a mountain slope, about a 10 minutes distance (by car) from the sea, the rock around which it was built still has traces of pebbles and sea shells! The house is very quiet and an ideal place to relax, while overlooking at the great view of Corinthian Bay. It was decorated with a lot of passion, in Greek countryside chic, with olive oil branches and natural sculptured wood collected by the owner. It is equipped with large verandas, outdoor furniture and a barbecue on the small back yard. In the winter, the cozy fireplace makes it perfect for cocooning and is constantly equipped with wood for the fire. It has full amenities (air-conditioning, central heating, mosquito nets in all windows, espresso coffee maker, filter coffee maker, toaster, toaster grill, dishwasher machine and laundry). Extra care will be taken for families with small children. There are two small children beds (for children up to four years of age) that can be converted to cradles for babies, while a baby stair gate can be fitted on demand on the top end of the internal staircase. Guests do have to mind the safety of children near the fireplace, though. Guest access The house is entirely at your disposal. We will be stand by in case you need us but, other than that, you can enjoy a carefree holiday without too much interaction in a time when this plays an important role. Other things to note I would like to reassure you that the house is meticulously cleaned in between visitor stays and hygiene plays an important role for us.
