Lovely Monumental House in City Center of Leiden

Welcome to our monumental weavers house (60m2) in the city center of Leiden. Located in one of the most charming and calm streets of the city! Just two steps away from the canal. The harbour with nice restaurants is 2 min walk. The perfect spot for a quiet and calm place down town city. Kids are welcome! The space The house is fully yours. It’s located in a calm street without traffic and just around the corner of one of Leidens most beautiful canals (de Oude Rijn). The bright livingroom with a big kitchen is on the first floor. The historical beams give the room a lot of caracter. On the ground floor you will find the quiet sleepingroom which is at the back of the house. Due to its location the sleeping room remains fresh during the summer. There is also a big door and window you can open for a cold breeze. We also have a ceiling ventilator. The bathroom has a spacious shower and toilet (also located at the ground floor). The house is light and practical. We offer: - fully equiped kitchen - combi oven with microwave - fridge and freezer - coffeemachine (Nespresso) - Wifi - washing machine - dryer - irononing facilities - hairdryer - outdoor picknick table - baby bed (including firm matres) & dining chair on request - smart TV with Netflix (no TV channels) - ceiling ventilator in sleeping room The house is only at one side attached to another house. If you want to relax, this is the place that will give you calmness & peace. For small babies and toddlers the place is safe & comfortable. In the bedroom is enough space for the baby bed. The spacious hall makes it easy to store a stroller. When you close the door on the first floor, the kids can play without any risk. We have a baby bed and dining chair available on request. Guest access It's possible to host a third guest at the attic. The attic can be reached with a foldable stairs. See the pictures. There is an open connection with the living room. We don't recommend this sleeping place for young kids, elders and people with difficulties to take steep stairs. The use is on your own risk. We charge 30 euro extra per night for a third guest. Its forbidden to stay with more than 3 people in the house. In case this happens we have to end your stay directly. For small babies and toddlers the place is also safe & comfortable. In the bedroom is space for the baby bed we can provide (including bed linen & soft matrass). The spacious hall makes it easy to store a trolley. When you close the door on the first floor, the kids can play without any risk. There is a big supermarket and a play yard just around the corner. Other things to note There is a parking garage just 1 minute from the house (above the supermarket Albert Heijn). You can buy here a day pass. The garage is 24h open. Its easy to unload the bagage in front of the house. We have a foldable baby bed (including firm matres and bed linen) and baby dining chair available. Let us know in advance and we will place them. There is a beautiful outdoor play yard for kids just 5 min walking distance from the house! Its an inclusive, natural playground located in the Katoenpark in central Leiden (near the Meelfabriek).
