The Hourpes gîte

Our gîte opens its doors to you in a green setting on the banks of the Sambre. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the trails (GR 129) and the Ravel network (EuroVelo 3) just a short walk away. Its friendly atmosphere and terrace will allow you to savor every moment. Halfway between heritage and nature, between the Abbey of Aulne, the medieval city of Thuin and the Eau d'Heure Lakes, it is the perfect base for discovering our region. The space The gîte was fully furnished in September 2025, it has an area of 70 m2. The accommodation includes a large open living room with kitchen, living room, dining room. In the living room there is a sofa bed 140 cm wide that can accommodate 2 people. Outside, a large terrace and access to a private garden. Garden furniture is also available (barbecue, sun loungers, garden table, parasol...) A secure shelter that can accommodate 4 bicycles is entirely dedicated to guests. The room is equipped with electrical outlets to recharge the bikes. Private parking inside the property can accommodate up to two vehicles. Other things to note The gîte is located 50 m from the Ravel bike network connecting Charleroi to Maubeuge and allowing access to most major Belgian cities. A railway stop is about 500 m from the accommodation. Many hiking trails are accessible nearby.
