Once a grand townhouse and home of one of Hull’s greatest philanthropists and fishing fleet owners, Christopher Pickering, the building has been a children’s clinic, flats, even a temporary mortuary during WW2, before falling derelict around the turn of the century then undergoing a complete transformation from 2012.
