Facowie Lodge - Grand & Loon Facowie Lodge is a wilderness retreat is located just Northwest of Buyck right off the main thoroughfare of Crane Lake Road approximately 5 miles before the town of Crane Lake. This two-unit home is beautifully situated over a small tranquil lake called Kabustassa right across from Echo Lake. The lodge is set up for accommodations for the outdoor enthusiast, family vacations or business retreats. The space Many adventures available in this wonderland! From the best boating lakes and snowmobile trails you will find in Minnesota, to 4 wheeling trails, hiking, fishing, swimming, sight seeing with waterfalls and the adventures are endless. I have a 4 page guest information sheet with many things to do. We are also 200 yards from the famous Echo Trail to Ely and a great a bar & grill. There is also another restaurant 1/4 mile away and a number of them 5 miles up the road to Crane Lake. Guest access There is a shared 74' deck with seating on the front of the Lodge over looking the lake and the sunsets are incredible! We have an outdoor North Woods Tiki Bar by the outdoor fire-pit which is equipped with a grill and seating. Other things to note Sales & Lodging Tax (10.375%) - Uncle Sam has his hands in the pot and Airbnb does not provide an area for adding them so a request will be sent for these additional fee. There is MN sales tax 6.85%, Crane Lake Lodging tax 3.00% and St. Louis County Road Tax of .5% Pet Friendly - We allow pets in the lodge as long as the treated in the same manner as at home. You know your pet so precautions need to be made so that they are not allowed on the furniture or beds, no damage is done, there are no disturbances for neighbors and the designated potty areas are utilized. Guests are fully responsible for the damage that is caused by their pets. Please disclose the number and type of pet and there is a fee of $10 per night per pet ($50 weekly) that will be added.
