Stay in a real Nordland house from 1916. The Red House with grass roof. The authentic interior gives a unique calmness and a feeling of coming back in time. Restored to today's standard with kitchen and bathroom in 2014. 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Family and child-friendly. In Andøy in Lovik, a small, quiet village. 5 km from Risøyhamn. 50 km to Andenes with Whale Safari. 2.5 hours to Lofoten. 2.5 hours to Harstad/Narvik airport. 100 meters from the lake with a long sandy beach. Sea view. Close to mountains. Free parking space. Dogs allowed. The space Unique accommodation, holiday home. Historic, authentic house, "grandmother's house" Former farmhouse on the farm. Family and child friendly. We have a farm with wild sheep. Sheep graze near the house in summer. We have a hayloft by the house in the summer. It is a nice area for bike rides/walks from the house. About 2 km along the road to the lean-to with a fire pit. There is also another gapahuk at Strandland about 3.5 km from the house. It is a walk from the road and at the gapahuk you can eat and light a fire in a concrete ring. We have bicycles for rent. Long sandy beach where it is nice to go for a walk. You can find shells and small crabs under the rocks. The kids might like to fish for crab from the guest jetty in the harbor. Small village with road all the way up. The place is child-friendly with lots of space outside and little traffic. Suitable for families and for anyone who likes nature, mountain trips and historical, nostalgic atmosphere. Andøy has many nice mountains and mountain trips. The closest from Loviktunet is Steinheia 465m above sea level. The start of the trip to Steinheia is about 3 km from the house along the road. Andøy and Vesterålen have many nice mountains to hike in. From the house you can see the midnight sun in the summer and northern lights in the winter. There are few street lights on the road. Easy to find a place to see the northern lights. Check availability on our website. Other things to note Guests can clean the place themselves or pay a cleaning fee of NOK 1,500. If you do your own laundry, we want you to vacuum the rooms you have used and wash the bathroom and kitchen. We appreciate that you clean up according to Airbnb's rules. It's nice if you take the bed linen off the beds. Don't wash the dirty laundry. We'll get it. Please put the dirty cups in the dishwasher. Thanks in advance!
