About 2 km along the road to Gapahuk with a bonfire. There is also another gap at Strandland about 3.5 km from the house. It is a short walk from the road and by the gap you can eat and light a fire in a concrete ring. We have bicycles for rent .Long sandy beach where it is nice to walk You can find shells and small crabs under the rocks. The children might enjoy fishing for crabs from the guest dock in the harbour. Lita built with the road all the way. The place is child friendly with lots of space outside and little traffic. Suitable for families and for anyone who likes nature, mountain walks and historical, nostalgic atmosphere. Andøy has many beautiful mountains and mountain hikes. The closest from Loviktunet is Steinheia 465m above sea level. Start for the trip to Steinheia is about 3 km from the house along the road. Andøy and Vesterålen have a lot of nice mountains to walk in. From the house you can see the midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter. There are few street lights on the road.
