The space Our lovingly restored island cottage on Fehmarn can accommodate up to four guests and is idyllically located on the outskirts of Lemkendorf. From here you can enjoy the view over wide meadows and fields – a place where peace and nature are in the foreground. Perfect for anyone wanting to escape from everyday life and experience the island in its original charm. Character & atmosphere The house, built around 1850, exudes a Scandinavian hygge feeling: bright, light-flooded rooms and natural materials create a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The decor is simple, functional and lovingly selected – here you feel at home right away. Sleeping arrangements Ground floor: Double room (140 x 200 cm) and children's room with single bed (80 x 190 cm) Open sleeping loft: Double bed (180 x 200 cm), ideal for relaxing, reading or playing Separate mini apartment: Double bed with box spring (140 x 200 cm) and private shower room The house is not standardized – its original architecture makes it the perfect retreat for individualists looking for an uncomplicated, natural vacation home with character. Note: For seniors, the house is less suitable. Heating The house does not have central heating. The only source of heat in the house is a pellet stove that provides heat throughout the house. Note: The pellet stove must be refilled with pellets if necessary. We will of course provide the pellets. Living and cooking areas The open living and dining area is the heart of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, coffee maker and dishwasher. In the utility room, which is accessible via the terrace, you will find a washing machine, freezer and additional storage space – ideal for beach items or children's toys. Outdoor area The sunny, wind-protected courtyard right by the house invites you to have breakfast, read or linger outdoors. Behind it is a large garden along the Kopendorfer Au, about 1,000 m². This garden is shared with the guests of the neighboring cottage and offers plenty of space to sunbathe, play or just relax. Outdoor furniture invites you to enjoy the nature in peace. Things to Note: We do not provide bed linen and towels – please bring your own. Bed linen and towels can be booked directly with us for €30/person on request. Please contact us directly for this.
