Carpenter’s House in historic farming village

Wake up in a historic wooden house away from the bustle of tourists. Take a morning stroll down the old cattle path or simply enjoy a morning coffee in the hammock beneath the Kanisfluh (the local mountain!) Carpenter’s House has been lovingly restored and decorated with original features and antique furnishings for a farm cottage feel. The house is located in the village of Hirschau, a locals only spot, with immediate access too hiking trails, biking, skiing and swimming. The space The apartment comprises an entrance hallway with plentiful space for your outdoor things/ pushchair. There is underfloor heating throughout including in the exterior hallway. The apartment opens up onto the open plan kitchen and living room. These rooms are incredibly spacious. The kitchen is newly built summer 2025 and has a large induction hob with extraction and a pizza oven. It is fully equipped. The dining area within the kitchen has a garden view. The living room is very large with two armchairs and sofa, a television, plus books and games for adults and children. Off the living room is a hallway with a large master bedroom on the left. It has blackout curtains and a very spacious wooden wardrobe and rocking chair. Extra pillows are available. Back into the hallway is the loo, which is separate from the bathroom. The bathroom has a full sized bath, double sink, and a rain shower (floor made with local stones). There is also a heated towel rail. There is a chest of drawers in the hallway directly outside the twin bedroom. The twin bedroom has two single beds made from solid maple wood. There are also blackout curtains and shutters in this room. There is an option to add a junior bed to this room as well, suitable for a child up to the age of five years (it has raised sides to protect smaller children from falling out of bed). A washing machine for sole use of guests and a clothes horse are downstairs in the cellar. Access via the entrance hallway. Guest access The apartment covers the ground floor. The main entrance is shared with us, and the apartment has its own front door and is self contained. The apartment has direct access onto the garden which is only shared with us (we live on the upper two floors). Please not there is ONE free off street parking space. Other things to note There is ONE free parking space available at the property. A baby travel cot can be added to the master bedroom at no extra cost. A junior bed can be added to the twin bedroom for a child under/up to five years old for a fee of €30 per night
