Description

The quiet, fully furnished apartments in the heart of Wurzen offer central comfort in a 1994 newly built building with solid infrastructure. In 2021 and 2025, they were extensively renovated to ensure modern living comfort. Ideal for singles, couples or larger groups looking for a well-kept, bright accommodation. The apartments convince with daylight and contemporary style. The space The 1-room apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a multi-family house newly built in 1994 in the centre of Wurzen. With around 32 m², it offers a spacious, bright room with an open kitchen as well as an interior bathroom with a shower. Wurzen combines the tranquility of a small town with the advantages of a big city, making it an attractive destination. The city centre of Leipzig can be reached by car in just under 30 minutes. Leipzig is also just a stone's throw away by train. In the heart of Saxony lies the large district town of Wurzen, one of the oldest places in the federal state. A highlight of the town is the St. Mary’s Cathedral, which is often used for church services, weddings and concerts. Also known as the Ringelnatz town, it has a meticulously restored town centre with picturesque alleys, buildings and squares. The town centre is home to many attractive and individual shops offering a diverse range of goods. The impressive mill towers shape the entire townscape and are considered the town’s secret landmark. The Ecumenical Jacob Pilgrimage Route and the Via Regia, one of the oldest and longest land connections between Eastern and Western Europe, pass through Wurzen. Cycling and hiking trails run through the town, and especially the cycling paths are continuously being expanded. The Mulde flows between enchanted floodplain landscapes. Adjacent forests as well as many allotment gardens surround Wurzen like a green belt. Guest access Dear guests, We are pleased to inform you that our check-in can now be carried out contactless. Various shopping facilities (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, drugstore, etc.) are within walking distance. Restaurants and bars are also within walking distance. Cyclists and hikers can also explore along the trough and the Camino de Jacobs leading through Wurzen. Extraordinary in the German inland country is also the possibility of officially kitesurfing on two lakes of the Leipziger Neuseenland. The two spots cover all wind directions. They can be reached by car in about 35 minutes. In addition, there are several outdoor swimming pools and a swimming pool in Wurzen and the surrounding area. Climbers in particular get their money's worth in this area. After a 6-minute drive you are in one of the climbing areas in the region. The climbing guide "Rotgelbes Felsenland" leads you through the quarries and can be borrowed on site.
