Beach Cottage

Beachside, fisherman’s cottage with uninterrupted and endless sea views. Located in the old smugglers village of Boulmer. Perfect for active family holidays and just a stone throw from the popular ‘Fishing Boat Inn’ . The ideal location for heavenly coastal walks to traditional pubs serving the local sea food. One dog considered. https://www.instagram.com/beachcottage_northumberland/ The space The Cottage has been comfortably and tastefully furnished. There are three bedrooms sleeping six comfortably. Upstairs is a double bedroom with kingsize bed and a twin bedroom. Downstairs on the right is a large twin bedroom next to the family bathroom. To the left of the hall downstairs is the sitting/dining room with open fire and well equipped kitchen. The private front garden spreads the width of the cottage and runs straight down to the beach. At the rear there is a small private yard with a shed suitable for storing bikes, bodyboards and buckets and spades. Guest access The whole property Other things to note There is fantastic walking straight from the door. Turn right to Alnmouth and you have a 3 1/2 mile coastal walk to the charming and picturesque village with cafes, pubs and a delightful art gallery. If you turn left you'll walk past Sugar Sands and Howick Bathing House to the harbour village of Crastor (approx 4 1/2 miles) and a delicious local seafood lunch at 'The Jolly Fisherman'. If you a cyclist we are right on the coastal cycle route and there is a shed at the cottage suitable for storing you bike. The Coast is an absolute beach combers paradise with hours of rock pooling fun to be had. All sorts of treasures are to be found and if you are lucky you might even grab yourself a lobster for tea. It is a body board, kayak, swimming heaven when the tides in with a lovely protected bay just to the right of the cottage. Beach BBQ's every night if you like. Just sit back with your glass of wine and watch the kids plays on the beach.
